Does anyone know where i can get cheap (preferably free) hosting for my pictures and pdf's? I have a geocities account from years ago, but you cant link to images from outside of your geocities page, they suck like that.

Is it necessary for Brichnibodesign to show me up like that? I've gotten no work done yet today because I've been working on the pic. All i've got on it is round 1. No one else did well there first time did they?

We are going in turns, in the order I specified in the rules. Silent.Gear will make his once he gets the PSD, then me, then ill send my psd to you. Dont worry about starting your image yet, you will probably want to wait till its your turn, since you dont know where the battle will go, design-wise.

oh ok, sorry bout that, then, hehe. I was thinking you had a totally different idea about how battles worked or something. Although that would be a cool idea, all start from the same image, work simultaneously, and switch psd's after each round.

Thanks! That means alot. I've never been very good with fonts. All I have is the defaults with office 2k3. The fonts everyone here uses are sweet lookin. Give me any pointers you can for the fonts :) I'm really enjoying this.

I really love all the work so far, great stuff. But honestly, you guys need a new theme or something to your images. The over-all layout is the samething in every volley. Like some clouds, or a landscape with a blur here and there. Let's see something that'll really shock us, something the people won't expect. But on the good side, very nice work, weasel's volley was awsome with that girl's face, VERY creative!

Good Start li0n!
Just something I noticed, and that bothered me, is when you marquee'd out those clouds? Well a great technique, that I use all the time, is to use blending gradients.
For example :

Press x then d, to set your black to white colors.
Click on the layer of the clouds, and create a layer mask.
Now click on the gradient tool, and uptop, select it to be, Foreground to Background.
This is where the time comes when you do what you think seems right, select an appropriate gradient style, and along the edges of the clouds, great a gradient, so the outcome seems to be it's slitly disapeering.

Another thing you could do, would be, take the eraser tool, on the main layer, set the opacity to like 4 or 5%. And with a larger eraser, spend some time making the cloud edges look soft.

OOOPS! I never saved before I uploaded! Check it out again. I forgot about the additions I had made. I've never really known how to use masks grinch. Thanks for the tip. I'm giving them a shot now. Remember this is my first time! I will always remember it ;) So any tips are most appreciated. Anything to make this experience better! Moncrey, thanks for the compliment. Your kids are in the clouds next to the mushroom cloud. I got the idea from the movie THEM! anyone seen it? It's mad old. A black and whiter. Excited for next round!
