View Full Version : Gotta Catch Those Blocks!

New to this forum here and new to flash. This game gave me good exercise on flash coding. It was definitely a good learning experience. I hope you guys have fun with this game. The point of this game is to catch as many blocks as possible while staying away from the little black blocks. Read the instructions for useful hints on how to fire your weapons and point bonuses. There's a little bonus stage also.

Edit: new version of game with frost orb weapon and boss.

Enter your score at the end so I can see how you guys do and if I should change the difficulty.

intersting, but the instructions are way to complicated and long, either shorten them up or you ought to make it over multiple pages

Hey thx krilnon, Im glad u liked it. Im still modifying the game structure to make it more fun and interesting, more weapons too.

id reccomend changing things so that everything isnt a square, i couldnt really tell what was going on. what are you controlling??? is it some sort of fan or what? i couldnt tell which falling things were good and which were bad. I dont want to have to memorize the how to play page, it would be better if it were obvious. Besides that it was funny, fun to play.

hey moncrey thx for playing and the recommendations. I've been thinking of changing the graphics into plausible items, but im not that great at vector art. Also, the instructions arent really that long, hell you dont even have to read it to know what's going on...except for the black block penalty which i gotta change. I'll do a search on how to draw things now, thx.
