DJ site design -- your thoughts

Hi guys, As usual needing your valued opinion..
This is the first draft of a site for a UK DJ I am doing. I am attempting a grungy style for a change, love to know if theres anything you can think of to improve the navigation/design/flow etc..

Actually, I do like the design, but here are a few comments:

Play and Stop on the mp3 player are to cheesy. They don't seem to flow w/ the site design that well.

Maybe make the speaker on the sound a little smaller. and maybe change the 'on' to Arial, like the rest of your site.

The part inbetween the nav and the mp3 player, it looks good but maybe there is something else you can do in that section. The lines look good there but it still seems a little empty.

Overall, nice safe design :) :asian:

Thanks simplistik, I am changing the whole MP3 section to fit better, and yes I agree about the dead space -- Ill put in a news teaser linking to the events page there, also moving the fresh tracks star to the mp3 area where the headphone cable joins the header bar, Itll make more sense there...

overall a cool looking design, my only crit is (dont think of it as being petty) that some of the boxes dont line up, and too me, it doesnt seem like part of the design.

So just a bit of clean up, and the site WILL look professional and the dogs b******cks
