I've been looking around the forums a lot lately (especially the battle setion, i love it there), and I figured i'd try my hand at some image alteration. It's nothing special, but it's my first real attempt at it...usually i just paint my own stuff.

first try or not it's a good piece. The only tip I offer people starting out in manips is blending -- work on blending. THat is the WHOLE key to working with photos.

I think this a nice piece, add it to your folio. ;)

Nice work. Might wanna turn down the white. And a tip: don't use just a couple of effects and one filter. Mix it up :thumb:!

man, what the hell? are you a mind reader or so? :D yesterday i was looking for a pic and i found one, just like this, seriously, and i wanted to do exactly the same, left side heaven (peacefull colourfull landscape), right side hell (disturbed grey landscape), wow man, talkin' 'bout coincidence :D
