i'm currently working on a rather uncommon job, a logo for an austrian politician. in fact i know just a single other politician in austria who is using a logo, so trying to find something appealing and adequate feels kind of like walking through unknown territory.

in addition, i am limited to red tones since red is the color of the political party behind the client. the client herself is something like a congresswoman, who mainly deals with youth-related issues, so we decided to go for to orange add a younger feel to the logo.

alright, so here's the best idea i had so far, citique is welcome and appreciated ;)

my idea was to use her initials "m" and "h" to stylize listening and speaking (mainly in parliament)...

hmmm hard job, your idea is nice, but needs refinement.
I suggest getting rid of the straight line in the middle, and rather make it curved following the flow of the H and then curing around the dot, also make SPO a little larger.

If it was up to me, i would really go coporate with the logo, spaced out letters (alot of tracking) , nice font with some typographical arrangment. because at the moment my first impressions of that logo was that is a dj of some sort.

maybe just a fancy shape as a icon and nice clean serif font for the company/politican campaign name.

best of luck ;)
