Hello,

Once again I've redesigned my sites and I'd like a critique of bombingpixels (http://bombingpixels.com) . And if you don't mind don't worry about being mean, I really don't really care. This isn't completely done but close, like I'm gonna change the images that say home, port, and experi... so don't worry about saying that, really just functionallity and pretyfullness (I know it's not a word), and design.

Oh, and if you don't mind, can you take a look at the new nokrev.com (http://nokrev.com) and tell me what you think.

You seem to have kind of merged several styles here that don't work brilliantly together. When I saw the colour and the preloader I thought 'Oh cool a modern stylish site.' but when the thing on the left came in I was like 'What?' and the title font doesn't really go.
I think you should make the site a liitle less colourful - maybe change those things at the side to three different shades of grey/brown. Also change the title font to something else.
Would you mind if I made a mock-up to show you?

Start the text on the right lower down to align with the top of the colored box. (home,experiment)

I hope you don't mind my butting in like that but it was a good start and I wanted to help you improve it. I think the pixelart cherry bomb is perfect for you. Bombing Pixels - Pixel Bomb...geddit?

I thought this site had a sound structure to it and I thought graphically it lacked. The colour scheme was good but the fonts used were not very appealing, the button rollovers were also pretty poor. Seems to me as if you rushed the design and spent ages on the coding side of things.

for bombingpixels.com, bad combo of colours and the "bombingpixels" font is kinda ugly. you gotta interesting layout design, but some more work needs to be done IMO.

yep, I knew from the beginning that I didn't like the left side and did hall full intentions of changing it (hints in my first post: "This isn't completely done but close, like I'm gonna change the images that say home, port, and experi... so don't worry about saying that"). nokrev.com is a disgrace. there is no sense of harmony between design, information and functionality.

it needs a lot of work to bring it up to standard.
web graphics need a presedent.

you should spend some time with the design side of your site.
Use raster, or even pixel art (not easy to do, but unique) and make simple icons maybe

oh I know why it looks so horrible to the last two reviewers, I was in the middle of a redesign brainstorming and I accidentally overwrote the main css file with the new one, causing everything to go beserk, so I'll let you know when it's actually finished,

oh, and I think I certainly will add some icons :D
