Okay so no one will care, but today was a special day as I got to go to the 'big city' (redding (http://www.redding.com) ) and buy some new clothes and other 1337 173/\/\z. My town has no mall or clothing stores or anything, we have a Wal-Mart :sigh:
So here's some of the cool stuff I bought:
New Shoes: I've needed new shoes for so long. I went to the vans (www.vans.com) outlet (where I bought a shirt[sorry, no link available]), but the only shoes I was interested in weren't in my size (13). So I got these (http://www.etnies.com/footwear/skate/evader/?id=1) at Journey's (http://journeys.com/).
New Game!: I've wanted the Sonic Mega Collection (http://sega.com/sonic/gamepage_sonicmega.php) (GCN) since it was released, but never had the money or the gumption to pick it up. It was only 20 dollars new, so I did today, along with renewing my subscription to GI (http://gameinformer.com/default.htm).
1337 r34d1n6: Megatokyo (www.megatokyo.com) Vol. 2 (http://www.thinkgeek.com/interests/megatokyo/coolthings/67ac). Went to Barnes and Noble (www.barnesandnoble.com) in search of good programming (Flash MX) books, but they didn't have any; I think I'll just buy the Colin Moock book (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/059600396X/kirupacom/102-8156937-1991359) everyone raves about, and I think amazon (amazon.com) is cheaper, so I'll buy through kirupa (www.kirupa.com) ;) I did, however pick up the megatokyo book, but they only had vol. 2. I'll get one soon (wasn't it re-released?), but luckily I had read up to and past vol. 2, so I didn't miss anything.
I need a blog. :P
thanks for reading, if you did.
