I was wondering if anyone know of some good books about game programming and AI. If you do it would be great if you could tell me. Thanx

you should check amazon. There are lots of them. However, I can't recommend any one book.

I recently bought the book "Game Programming in Macromedia Flash MX 2004". I thought it was a good book, and it covers AI, but only for tick tack toe... It also covers a wide variety of games such as shoot'em up, and puzzle games, as well as provides you with the complete source code for the examples it uses.
i liked it :thumb:

Flash MX Game Design Demystified is a more advanced book, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who isn't through high school/college yet, because the math in it is a bit tough... It uses trigonometry and physics and stuff, I haven't finished it yet, because I don't know the math but I will finish it probably next year. From the looks of it, it covers a lot.

I might have to check that book out. How advanced was the trig used because I will be taking Calculus next year... (I am a junior in high school)

I don't think it was very advanced, but when I was reading it, I was a freshman and hadn't learned any trig at all, I think now (done w/ my sophomore year) i'd be able to understand it, but I am going to wait. You should be fine with it I think. It also gives a brief chapter on "refresher" trig and physics at the start.
