can anyone tell me how the text fx was made on http://www.exopolis.com/site/ go to work section and try to rollovers on the submenu or contact section and once you click on the text field ......
any one can direct to a tutorial site or even better a sample file tnx

I think it might have something to go with Math.random.... maybe Math.random*26 and then having a letter assigned with a number say 1=a, 2=b, 3=c ect. I don't know, but thats probably how I would do it if I wanted absolute randomness every time.Just me.

I'm not an AS expert but I'm pretty sure it's not random. watch one letter in one word very closely as you move the mouse over and out. (zoom in to make it easier) The animation is exactly the same each time. Same characters are appearing in the same places. Like I said, watch closely. I would guess it may be something as simple as a conventional frame by frame animation set to occur on roll out. (?)
