I posted this site last weekend, really wasn't finished(and probably shouldn't have posted it).
I just finished up(for the most part), and think it's came a long way.
Tell me what you think. It's not 5megs, I promise.
Thanks
Nick

I like the transitions. The colors all seem too solid for me, some gradients or shading might add a nice touch.

Just a couple of things really...
1. Yeldarb's right about the grey, maybe try a gradient instead?
2. The music is from the movie Trainspotting, the withdrawl scene. Better be careful about permission to have that song on your site. I'm not 100% clear on the issue so I stay clear of it and buy Royalty Free Music, I'm pretty sure music from a movie soundtrack won't be Royalty Free and thats where the problems start.
Other than that it looks great, especially the 3d city in the intro :thumb: Only thing is most people skip the intro and won't see it, any way to use it in the site?

check your spelling on initiative throughout. i'd center the popup.
also, i've always felt that a royal blue bg is real tough to pull off. royburst was right in saying that the colors are too solid. i don't know if gradients will help. they sometimes make things look cheesy. i'd try some texture fills.

hi, I'm new on kirupa, just "walking around", I've find this topic...
Take a look on outlines of your page layout, I've see some lines bigger than others...
... and sorry 4 my terrible english!
Bye!

well, to be honest, the layout is okay, but it has a very corperate/templatey feel to it. This, coupled with the music selection comes across as institutional in feel. Ultimately, from a design standpoint I think it lacks elegance.
The color scheme could be experimented with.
I personally don't like horz. image scrollers that don't have a seperate timeline control.
I would place an image with every page of copy. I would organize the copy in a more "graphically pleasing" manner.
All the transitions are exactely the same.
The audio turns off, but once you select a button it turns on again.
The text is fuzzy. Check the x/y position.
