Umm.. After i applied an icon package on my computer, i wasn't able to change all the icons back to the orginal appearance. Does anyone have the "orginal" icon package? Or know where to get it? Or how to restore it?

Thanks!

PS: Or have a very good looking icon package that matches grey/white? - If there isn't a way to restore it...

Why don't you restore Shell32.dll? I am sure you can find Shell32.dll by googling for it, or is the method you used a little more devious than that (WinCustomize, etc.)

What program did you use to install the package?

Hmm... would this be the right Shell32.ddl? http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?shell32

And do i replace the old shell32 with it?

Rename your current Style32.dll to something like Style32.bak and copy your new Style32.dll file in there. If it is the wrong file, you can rename your Style32.bak file to the new one ;)

Oops sorry, I meant to say shell32.dll. Shell32.dll. Replace style32.dll with shell32.dll in my previous post :)

As long as you have a backup of shell32.dll, try overwriting it by pasting your newer version of shell32 over it.

Try the forums on http://www.neowin.net for icons. They may even have shell32.dll files for you to use.

Cheers!
