I am thinking about going out and getting this. I am completely addicted to BF 1942 and now the Desert Combat MOD.

Is it worth the buy?

I can wait to buy it so I was thinking of going with a factory sealed version off of ebay and save myself $15-20 from Bestbuy/EB

I see a lot of vendors selling UK (or at least currency) versions of the game.

I know that DVD's have region codes but does CD media too? So essentially my question is if I buy a UK version of the game will it work or will me and my roomate have three shiny new CD's to play frisbee with?

Fester - one of my best buds has it - it is absolutely amazing -

I havent played - but I have spent plenty of time looking over his shoulder...

helicopters...transports...its insane...the weapons are better - the aiming is better lol - scenery is unreal - you can add custom music to the game -

its great looking man - if I had the money for games right now I'd get it.

as far as region codes - i found this thread

That's true, but you can get localised versions of software (including games). Chances are it will work just fine. If not, you could always get a refund or sell it on eBay.. :)

I personally didn't like Battlefield Vietnam...
I have been playing Call Of Duty for a while, I like it.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUN.
