Hello all. This site is an ongoing work in progress that I have assembled for my neighbor, free of charge. I could not have made certain elements possible without kirupa's most excellent source of kick*** tutorials and forums. I would like to eventually get the whole thing together in Flash, but time is a bit limited for freebies. Also working on integrating a photo gallery in there once I get it completed.
I do plan to include you all in the site credits once I get the dang thing finished. Anyway, please have a look and I look forward to your critiques.

Very impressive, I like the backgroud alot. I think the text on the nav should smoothly change colors though. Also try changing the scrollbars just a tad more, I like the alpha but perhaps when you rollover a certain spot that spot should fade to 100% or something. Nice though.
and, the top goes away when you go to the calendar? :thumb:

Nice site! I like the buttons on the left and the colour scheme is good but the menu at the top doesn't really suit the style of the site that well. It's too techno. You should do with the same writing as the left hand buttons and maybe have a bit of jagged tape or something fall down over them.
Just a suggestion (and not a very good one)
I like the site it's really nice.

Cool site, particulary the wooden textured background. I love it when the background image sets the whole tone for the site. The ragged tape buttons and the content obviously sets the tone but with that background, most of the hard works done for you...well done.
By the way the ragged tape buttons was something I was thinking of doing, now I see it...I'm impressed I thought of that ;)

Yeah, it's tough working for free, but I'm sure it'll pay off eventually. Plus I needed a fresh piece for the old portfolio w/ some new flash work (don't think I've done much w/ it for a solid 2 years).
As for the feedback so far, it's just what I was looking for, I liked the top nav so much ... but kinda knew it didn't fit properly ... needed to hear it from others.
See any other blinding issues? Keep the crits coming! I'll eventually get to the revisions.
Thanks Again
