Hyperlink-Like Shortcuts in Windows XP

Well heres the deal, my brother recently bought a windows xp computer and, by default, all the shortcut out like hyperlinks (underlined and only need one click). I remember WAY back I used to know how to turn this off, i think it was called like "active desktop" or something. I have looked around everywhere and cannot figuire out how to turn this off in windows xp.

ANy Suggestions?>

open up a folder window and go to

Tools > Folder Options...


It should be listed in there somewhere

My suggestion is: Goto> My Computer(Explorer). Then Tools>Folder Options and you can see theres an option for Single-Click or Double-Click. Choose your Option!

I guess thats what your looking for!
