I popped a CD into my CD tray and I get a little error Message
Platform::Fail
Windows XP not supported.
Whaaaaat?
Anyone know what that means or just want to comment on how stupid it is?

That is so dumb. I feel bad for you if the CD was important, but if it wasn't, I just laugh and say: Macs are cooler!

Heh, perhaps it has a secret program on it....? I was shocked to find out when I put Powerslave by Iron Maiden in my PC that it started running a program, which had artwork, and a juke-box sort of thing, and a bunch of secrets....
Has it worked before?

It was the first time I put this particular CD in, I was just going to rip it to iTunes like I do with everything and that popped up. They aren't the kind of band to try and be funny like that. I guess my computer is just handicapped.

Probably some new protection scheme theyre using on audio cds nowadays go here for more help www.cdfreaks.com im sure they will help you out been a member for 9 years but havent posted much but very good info there

grim - I can still access the CD and all of it's contents just fine from my PC, it was just that particular incident. I'm listening to it right now, it's fine.
I just thought the error message was really stupid and funny so I decided to post.

It is funny.
Your Audio Cd does not support windows XP... :D... It'd be like a DVD player showing: "Error in Drive D: insert Windows Formated Disc, and hit any key to continue.:
