Well, I noticed that the smilies here, while wonderful, are extermely lacking in representing the, albeit small, female side of the kirupa forum members. So I decided to make one. Now, I am NO pixel artist (as is painfully obvious by looking at the attachment below) so please feel free to laugh! I guess the purpose of this is to inspire those of you who ARE to add some. I would especially love to see a hot motorcycle mama. I think I'd use it all the time. Just a suggestion though.

Oh, and please feel free to move this thread - I wasnt' sure where it was supposed to go. D&D maybe? Not really a design I'd like to be critiqued - like I said it's supposed to be bad enough to make you laugh!

Lunatic - I think the smiley looks good, but it doesn't seem too consistent with the rest of the smileys. What you could do, is take an existing smiley and draw over it with all the girly smiley things.

well, you drew over an existing smilie, but you must have gone over the black outline with a shade of yellow right? You need to keep the outline for it too look more like the existing ones - they all have black outlines, round more or less everything.

Lunatic - I think the web-like hair kinda threw me off. If you could make the hair more linear without the cross-stitch pattern, then it may be great for the forums.

I tried leaving the black outline but with the lipstick and the long hair it looked like a beard! And, uh, I'm going for the female look here, not the shemale.

*edit* I think I made the hair a cross-stitch-like thing because I was going for non-straight hair. I myself have a nice curly rats nest on top of my head so was going for the non-traditional approach . . . ;)

I am still alive, honest... I've had a fortnight off work though, and I've been doing up my house. Kitchens don't just build themselves, unfortunately. :) Lots of other stuff going on too, so I haven't been on the PC as much as if I'd been at work. :)

Anyway, the current cyborg smile - :cyborg: - is indeed female, and is supposed to be me, though I can't remember who made it. Eilsoe, was she one of yours? Or Soul's?
