I posted a thread a while back about my BahamutSoft logo, but I couldn't find it again...

seriously, I think it is a bit cheesey. That look is played out IMO. It's well done, as far as the style is concerned tho.

Oh, I just put the scan lines up to give some texture... no problem there...
the finished product will probably go on a flat background, or something with a light texture to it, nothing reall elaborate. THe blue just to show contrast, and my site right now uses that color scheme.

Well here is my deal...I don't know what the bat wings are for? What do they have to do with BAHAMUT...is that bat in another language?

I like the two fonts and the yellow, on blue, it really pops out at ya. So my problem is with the bat wings there just almost too over powering or something...
by the way do you know how to make pixel fonts?

The wings are Dragon Wings... Bahamut is the King of Dragons, in a simple explanation...
What should I do to make them less obtrusive? I kinda like 'em, but that's 'cause i made 'em ;)

Here put the wings together...turn them into a watermark and move them behind the text...or you could also shrink em down and stick it in between the two titles...something like that

maybe make the wings brown and also have some lines and texture on it so it looks more like a detailed wing.

I think flat colors would look much better, but the design itself is really nice.

lol.......I am not particularly feeling the bat wings or maybe it is the prientation of them......It is quite cliche. And the beel is not working well. Work on the orientation

Okay, here's some more attempts... I do like the dragon wings... I'm trying to incorporate something Draconic into the logo, since I'm using the name Bahamut Software, but I'm open for other suggestions... which one looks better of the 3?

The scanlines aren't part of the logo... I was just putting some kind of background to it, so they wouldn't be against a black or white background....

So if I stick with the placement of the 3rd one, then what should I do for the style? Does it look good the way it is? Bold, with flat colors? Or should I try to make it stand out more?

For some reason, while I like the third one (no 8), i think it's missing something.... do you think I should make the fill into a gradient? Shrink the border/stroke a little bit? Change the color? Add another, smaller stroke, of a different color?

Have you thought about maybe a glow of somesort...dont really know what color perhaps another shade of gold or somethin' just a suggestion.
