XP SP2 is laden with much-needed security features, and a must-have upgrade for all XP users. I recommend that all Windows XP users upgrade to this service pack as soon as possible.

Screenshots dont show the tabing system in IE but in the preview he said there is more to come. (screens are only from beta)

Yes... loads of stuff that buggers up existing poorly written windows apps...

I don't and would never use that. It's based off the IE core.

I've always detested about IE is that the dialog asking you to install Macromedia Shockwave or whatever doesn't have a "Never install, and stop asking me" option. Now it does.

It should have allready been launched.... This month... or next... but soon...

But you never know... Microsoft will keep on porsponing it...

I've used it for a while, and I liked it because it had tabbed browsing which is the greatest thing if you don't know it. But then I discovered Mozilla which is so much better and secure, and I sticked to it ever since.

Same here peeved :) I didn't even install the google toolbar hehe.

I think SP2 is supposed be coming out in a month or so. They are on RC1 at this moment, so the envitable release should not be too far off.

Another cool link: http://www.iamnotageek.com/articles.php?aid=11&page=1

I am not sure if the technical preview is the same as the RC1, but you can get that from here: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/maintain/sp2predl.mspx
