Personally I think the grey is a little bland...no offence, but it could be spiced up a bit :D

Way too many styles mixed there. You have some pseudo-grunge goin on with some sort of roundish kiddy buttons at the top and then the outdoors picture that doesn't fit in with either. Not to mention the complete lack of a color scheme or any font consistancy.
I think you should think it out a little more before you throw a bunch of stuff together like that. Find a style you like and stick with it.

i dont think its that bad. honestly mixing styles would be good for a land rover site, cuz they can be used for hardcore offroading or as a nice luxury SUV. but it does need some work. first off the buttons dont really fit, they are too big and kind of boring, i would stay away from the green selected thing, it looks kind of ugly, lol.
i think you have a good picture to build around, but its just kind of sitting there, give it a border or something and maybe throw some photoshop into it make it more exciting.
lastly the content boxes are nice, but they seem lop sided your left side is full but the right side has nothing, maybe space them out a little and make them bigger(?)
but i would focus on the buttons first, they need the most work.
