I need help with doing some search engine submission for a client. Any and all information you could share is greatly appreciated.

More specifically, I pretty much understand the different meta tags and their use, I'm just not sure about the best ways to go about submitting commercial sites.

I'd love to hear your expert advice.

This is my favorite and its what my company uses (www.macromotive.com), you bid on a price you are willing to pay per hit on a keyword and if you arethe highest bidder yours will show up as the first one on the top of all searches and if your the second highest then your the second highest on searches and so on:
