Hi,
I think you could pick a better font for the text, but I like the image! Good job.

Yeah, the image is good. Have you tried placing the hammer more towards the center, so that it would hit the middle of that ... board instead of the side like it seems to be doing now ?

try Shenk auction on one line and company below it, and give company alot of tracking, and a little tracking to shenk auction, which that done , size up the font to where it look reasonable.
Or you could make Shenk Auctions bold and have company regular. play around. ;)

without the text I think something judicial. ANd the few auctions I went to did not even use a gavel or hammer. BUt I do get the point but it is rather bland. That is just my .02.

i might think about making the hammer smaller, right now it seems to compete a lot with the base...you need a strong focal point

ok thanks guys!!!
first off, any ideas come to your mind when you think of an auction, the only thing i can think of his that gavel, lol. i dont want it to be just like all the other auctions out there.
secondly, when i center the hammer it makes the image look unbalanced because the handle goes out too far. but if you have any other ideas on how to get a good focal point let me know.
thanks alot i'll work on it some more and post the finished product
