no wonder that kirupa is one of the best flash-learning websites in the net

but i have simple question

what would kirupa do if it's got hacked !!

strange question, right ?

i'm asking that coz i feel sad for one of my friends who was and still working to give a very nice site with great forum, and he did it

but his site got hacked today ! :puzzled:

he didn't do anything so far

i was wondering, what would kirupa do if they got hacked ?

yeah if you have a big community you should back it up daily. I am pretty sure that kirupa has MT backing up daily...

I would then go back from there, reinstall using those.

After talking to kirupa for a while, kirupa told kirupa that he makes backups every few days manually also. MT does the automatic ones and kirupa makes the manual ones. Should elya ever hack kirupa, kirupa can easily upload his most up-to-date version without too much damage hehe :)

What if Kirupa hacks kirupa? Have we planned for that. I mean sometimes one ' in the wrong spot can throw a webpage out of whack. think how much code went into writing this version of Kirupa. I think we should plan for the future people. Kirupa is going to try and access some random thought and get a ' in the wrong spot and we're all screwed.

i'm just mad for my friend, he got hacked

and the hackers posted a threatening message in the front page and he said who they are

now the website is running again, he have a backup copy and i'm helping him to get everything as before

but he lost one week posts

is'nt that frustrating ??
