Splinter Cell - PT

So - who has it!!!??

I am going to get this game tomorrow for my Xbox but I want to hear some first hand impressions. I have read the reviews and previews and such but I want to know what an actual real human thinks - not a video game jockey from a website :)


So..... anyone!?

the solo campaign it´s great but almost more of the same (which is good), a couple of new moves, if u enjoy the first then this one is for u, don´t know about multiplayer yet and is the strenght of this one

I really want to but the game also SS, I'm just wondering about the multiplayer design is good, I heard it's awkward, yet entertaining!

From the in-game videos, the game looks good for your espionage craving.

no I haven´t played online grinch, but in the reviews they say multiplayer is the main reason to buy it....... but I think single player is good enough reason (if u love the first one)

Single player is enough for me that's for sure

The mulit-player is just an added bonus. Besides, you can only play with 4 people at a time, or so I have read. I hope to pick the game up tonight!

I went to Best Buy today to grab it. While I was there I finally got around to lookin at Far Cry as well. Couldnt decide so I got them both. Then I couldnt decide which to play first. Went with FC since I already knew I'd love SC2.

Far Cry is friekin amazing but Im rushing through it so I can get to Splinter Cell! Bought Battlefield V last week and havent even touched it yet.

played the single player demo for the pc. looks awesome, got to play a train level and a grasy stage.. plays great and looks like a awesome sequel. :thumb:

I just got the game, and I am loving it.

The single player is alot like the first splinter cell, but you have a few new moves, weapons, ect.

The multi-player is just hot. You can play as mercenaries, or spies. Each has their own playing style, and equipment.

I played mp demo yesterday.. it's pretty cool
it has all kinds of cool systematic gadges and stuff...
I was a merc and got shot by a spy and I malfunctined and my crosshair disappeared :P so I had to switch to the laser ;)

Mercs have this cool motion-detection vision but it's useless if the enemy is sanding still
ANd the electromagnetic vision can see through thin walls and objects

I've only played multiplayer.

Spie is the best! I love shocking the enemy, throwing down smoke in his face, then really fast grab him from behind and the best part, holding the white button and talking DIRTY in his ear before I snap his neckm LOL!!!!!!

ya i have been playing it for almost 40 hours straight, i had a 4 hour sleep break, missed work yesterday.

I think it will be the end of me.

You can live on my balcony! I will just throw you a wireless controller so you can play through the glass in my slider.

It would be nifty. I could bring over all my drunk buddies and show them the video game junky forigener living on my blacony.

I do have to warn you though. The winters are pretty rough here :beam:

You and Syko need to make sure that the next console you buy, you have shipped from the states so it's region 1 and then all the new games, just buy them on Ebay or from another reputable gaming site and have them shipped across the sea. That way you get all the games right away and don't have to wait! :)

The PC version is out April 2nd in Europe, I think, if anyone wants to know.

I've played the demo and it's pretty much like the first one - the SWAT turn looks cool. There's an excellent jungle level that has you sneaking through long grass - very cool. It's still pretty linear though - it's never 'what do I do next I wonder', you're just going through the motions. But what motions they are! :)

I still havent tried the multiplayer. Finished the single player though. I dont usually get into the story lines that much but the Splinter Cell stories have been interesting. That being said, Im not entirely sure why part 2 ended the way it did? Was that really the right choice to make Fisher? Seems like it was a pretty iffy solution at best. O_o

ifI wait til it comes out it'll be much cheaper... until then I'll just stay with the demo :beer:
