Anyone knows how I can create wood texture for Adobe Illustrator? No need very realistic, just to show nice wood grains.

look around in illustrators brush sets. there are some brushes there that have a wood texture to them. you might be able to use that. otherwise get some reference material of wood and just simplify it in illustrator by redrawing shapes.
cheers.

Yah saw the brushes in the default brushes in Illustrator. I was wondering is there any filters of something i can use to create a wood texture where I can change the properties or some sort?
Creating it by myself will be too tedious as I only need the wood texture to be a small part of my project.

you can in adobe photoshop using the metal tutorial on this site
gray square
add noise
motion blur
then tint it brown
might help you get it quicker...

also with photoshop ,
you would also use Render/distort/wave to get some knots in the texture as wood has.
