My suggestions would be to make the buttons a lot smaller on your site. Apart from that I quite like your graphic scheme its different - in fact I really like it.

center your popups in your gallery. on my pc, there is a small popup, then it gets bigger after a few seconds, but by then i've already closed it for lack of attention span.
