I'm working on a coming soon page for a client. I feel it is... lacking something. Comments and Crits welcome. Keep in mind that it is not done (I dont think). Please help me come up with something else to put on it. I was thinking another guy but laying down instead (with the same white scheme). What do you think?

maybe some little soldiers on the side, grey. some stars. and a background.. The white dude in the middle right now looks too white/big. Turn the tune down a big.

Use some filters on the text :)

Thanks MTsoul, how do you suggest that I do the little soldiers? do you think like smaller iconish type things or what? More screenshots from the game?

edit: thanks :)

Um.. Little guys with kool poses, facing 1 point, all with a colour overlay of white, alpha 50%. Something like that :thumb:

I took a screenshot in the game and cut out the background and then turned the brightness all the way up and put an outer glow around it :)

I think it would look a lot, lot better if you just made the guy much smaller - say about 3cm high on the screen. Then size the text down to be in proportion, and put it in the middle of the page, and it'll look ok.

i think you should drop the outershadow, have the silouette strong, maybe add a silouette of some grass blades on the side, and other things but dont overdo it, simplicity is what you would be looking for in this piece.

Regarding the type. work it in with the image, maybe have it half covered by silouettes. play around with it, still early days.

OK, I'll play around with some of those suggestions, and depending on how they turn out I'll post here again :)
