suggestions 3d prog.

hello. I need suggestions.. i want to start with 3d.. so does anyone know a 3d program for easy to learn and can make cool stuff??? like 3d txt or maybe some 3d drawings.

swift v3.....i hear v4 is coming out soon too. really solid flash capabilities and imports 3ds and lwo models.

You used to be able to download a free copy of Avaya, you might try that if it's still available.

aa ok but i really don't want a 3d animation prog.. i would like a rendering program or something like that so i can make 3d pictures like THIS GUYS (http://www.whoswestudios.com) the splash page,,, the nut.. etc etc. static

you can do things similar in swift, you can also try plasma www.discreet.com

But whoswe uses high end apps like 3ds max (discreet.com) and Lightwave (newtek.com) then there is like maya, cinema 4d, universe.....there are really several. If you run out and get digit magazine they have some trials softwares attached...

then there are free apps like wings3d and blender....blender is gettin much better
