Thor: Check out the LocalConnection() object. It allows for communication between 2 seperate Flash movies being displayed at the same time (must exist on the same server as well)

David: You're welcome ;) yeah, I actually found that out less than a year ago in MX. Played around with it a bit, but never really mastered it.

I believe my goal was, at the time, to be able to have a site with SWFs in different frames, as a navigation system of some sort.

three years later, i'm still "working" on my site. :trout:

I did a rough search on lostinbeta just to see if he was actually a member of the ezboards back in the day. a bulk of the results returned were from that forum. I saw your name in there as well. I knew it was you because of your consistencies in avatars :P

oh now i remember: I was simply shape tweening (I was a tweening hippie back then) random lines and made that animation into a mask. there was no way my AS knowledge reached that limit then.
