What is a good yet cheap digital tablet? I don't exactly know what they are called but I know that people use them to make their drawings without a scanner.
So I looked at aiptek and Wacom tablets... the Aiptek are affordable but I don't know what I need. :red:

Ive had a cheaper wacom for a couple of years but no matter how much I use it I can never quite get comfortable with the feel of drawing on plastic with plastic.
Does anyone know of a more realitic type tablet? Or better yet has anyone ever heard of some type of wireless or usb light pen? If something like that existed and you could draw directly on your desks surface I'd buy that in a heartbeat!

I honestly didnt know tablets like that existed. Been neglecting the drawing skills for far to long I guess.
That Cintiq 18sx looks spectacular! Im definately gonna do a little more research on that. Thanks DDD.

there was a huge thread involoving some wacom talk awhile back, if you do a search for "5 minute break" you'll find it. There was a lot of discussion about the Wacom Graphire 2/3
