The personalized patterns are the ones that u create in Photoshop by going to edit>define pattern...

and that's how you create a p pattern but then if you ant to take all your patterns to another pc that't when the surprise came cause I dont know where to locate those files

go to your photoshop root folder. From there go to presets>>patterns

Hey,
if you want simple patterns like for example: TV scan lines, grid, or say a pop dot pattern... you can just create them pixel pixel on a small say 2x5 canvas (for tv scans) and then save as a pattern.
Theres a lot of places where you can find custom patterns also,
Heres a simple step by step guide on how to find them!

1. Google!

Go to layers> blending options (or options, forget which one it is) >pattern overlay. It will be there. I highly suggest looking at your photoshop manuel and other documentation.

when you make a pattern (edit..define pattern). WHere is that pattern kept. He wants to move his patterns to another cpu. I cant seem to find mine either. Must be some kind of preference thing. I am doing an intense render right now so I cant check for him.

you actually have to save the pattern as a set before you can transfer if to another location. When you go into fill / pattern click on one of the patterns and then go to the options, click save patterns, save it , then you can do what you want with it.

Alright! I got what you need, and it wasn't easy to find, silly adobe ;P

Edit> Preset Manager. You'll be given a little pop up box with a select bar with brushes, etc. etc. etc. Select Patterns, click on the pattern you want to save, and then click the "Save Set" button. It should save to your Presets>Patterns folder. Hope thats what you wanted :)
