logo check please

[DDD]

I am just curious if this logo conjures up any ideas of any other products or branding you may have seen. It is real important to this client that they be unique. They are a electrical engineering company that has some pretty cool products coming out soon. I think you all will be hearing about them very soon.

We are going to design their packaging around this so if this logo reminds you of anything else you have seen let me know.

first glance, first thought, didn't read a word of your post yet = electronics. It's a little hard to decipher, but the basic idea is solid.

I can't think of any other logo out there like it...except emachines.
but that's just cuz it's an E as well.

i read electronics as well at first look. cant recall if ive seen anything like it. looks good.

nice, the perspective is a great touch. It screamed electronics to me as well right when I looked at it. It only reminds me of other things that are just an e, but that isn't suprising or bad.

thanks guys. These guys are thorough and conservative. SO they want unique without too much complexity. Glad so far no one is reminded of another product. That was their main concern in their branding.

Electronics is good.....because they are a tech company that was another requirement. It had to say tech company.

It doesn't remind me of any other logos either, and generally the first thing I see is someone elses logo in a logo because I'm wierd in the brain :P The logo looks great and definitely says technology, nice job

I can't say that it reminds me of any companies I know of. I like the idea of the electrical circuit thing for the logo though. It's subtle, but still noticable.

thanks rev and Kit......BTW the client loved it. I used your comments as part of my research into if this idea is unique enough to not remind a user of another company.
