Thank you!
This is my first flash website, and I want to do more to it, but right now, I'm kinda proud of it.
Any suggestions on improving it would be great!

its quite nice, and totally awesome for your first try.. hehe :thumb:
only two things i think might need some work
with the change of colour in each section some type is hard to see, for instance the purple area (contact) the type name , email , and message are hard to read.
the other would be the left part of the layout of the blue section, extras, while you have the same format in the profile section the squares are much neater and complete, also seperated from the yellow while the blue squares on the right are connected to the blue background..
thats about it.. Actually im not really fond of the type you use with "into the ether", but i guess thats the style you are pushing, so thats totally up to you.
Like i said, great work for your first try.
cheers

Thank you soulty! for your two (and a half ;) ) suggestions!
Well, my contact page is 'in the works' I put an overlay over the form, to indicate what is GOING to be there. Maybe that is not apparent.
Second, Oops about the Extras page! I will need to fix that! I'm updating that section any way in the next few days, with more wallpapers, and some creative battlefield images I competed in.
About the font, that's surprising to me. You're not the only one who has commented on not really liking the font. Hmmm... I really like the round soft look of it. Not sure if I want to change it or not...no other fonts looked as nice to me...
Thanks for the input!

I kinda agree with Soulty about the font. It's not bad but I could see something better.
Here's what I had in mind. I think you could get both these fonts for free but I'm not positive.

I really like the 'fancy' font!
I think I will try it tonight, if I find it for free that is...
Thanks BillMarr!

okay re-reading it I sound like an ******* below but Im not!
im using xp and the numbers on the gray ball aren't in the center.. Even if its meant to be this way it looks odd and someone could easily think this is a mistake... Also I wouldnt make the numbers selectable. Also add percentages to the rest of the loaders, im on a dial up connection, and I HATE having NO idea how long I will have to wait.. AND in fact now I've given up on the portfolio section because it was taking too long to load, may be my dialup I'm not sure.. no no its here.. looking at sections e.g. animation - needs loaders again.. or something to say its ready.. In some sections it looks like I can click on the large images to launch the windows.. but I cant! Make sure users can launch the new windows by clicking the text AND the actual images.. ALSO use pixel fonts for small text.. AND in extras, give some links to your battles or examples of work or dont include it..and NEVER say stuff like I did this on my lunch break in 5 minutes!! say what you what you were trying to achieve, what you did to achieve it, and whether you feel you did achieve it, this gives clients and pontential employers an idea of how you work and shows that you can work to specifications rather than just mess about in photoshop on your lunch break..
Also in profile the photos and the effect is really really really cool. I like that a lot, the photos look good cool and modern and the font and placement of text really works. How is that effect with photos achieved, I mean the fading in effect? I can guess but it would be cool if you could tell me. thanks.
Well done.

Preloader with percentages for the inside- I tried the code that I used in the main preloader has, but I couldn't get it to work in the internal preloaders. I know, I don't like not knowing either : )
The numbers inside the grey circle are meant to be off center. I liked the way it looked. I don't think I will change that.
I've never tried pixel fonts. I will need to try them.
Extras battles - The download link, IS a link to the image larger. I thought it would be obvious. I will have to change 'download' to 'launch'. As for a link to the actual thread, Ultrashock works in frames, so direct links, don't work or else I would
The effect with the profile section is just some alpha motion tweening with a change in brightness as well.
