Anyone know how the following three d text can be made in photoshop? 3d Transform tool?

no, it can't :) I've tried, use a 3D app :)

I STILL say use a 3D app.... Swift V.3 kicks out nice text...

3ds max kicks out some good stuff too... Sen, why do you have to get 4 when it comes out?

I need softer shadows, and a better bevel. That makes up pretty much the whole picture, haha. I tried.

i used to be able to do some nice text with max, then i stopped using it...i should reinstall, but yeah, thats deff a 3d proggie

yeah 3d proggs are best for pulling off 3d images...
you can do it in P.S. but if you are looking for a more natural and real look to your text, a 3d prog is were it's at

Sen I think you should consider buying Plasma than Swift 3D I think the output is better with Plasma

This was done completely in Photoshop CS, but the tools I used can be found in Photoshop 6 and 7 as well.

Plasma isn't very good to work with in my opinion, I'd go for swift especially with v4 on the way if you can't afford one of the more powerful apps, swift packs a lot of punch for the money.
