Aw come on, the first 8 seconds of megalomaniac is good
but I never really did like incubus, just a few of their songs.

Every time they put an album out it is completely different from the last one. But it seems as of late, all their albums just sound like the same boring ****. They have lost what makes them unique -- whatever that was.

I like their new song Megalomaniac, but that's the only new song i've heard from them.

Thats the best song. The fact that it was the first release and #1 on the album should have given it away (that the rest was poo or generically uninteresting).

I have not heard much of it, but it does seem like they left a bit of what made them so good behind.. this album seems to be more feminine than previous albums... Nevertheless, they are a great band..
Anyone see the video for Meglalomaniac!! Frellin' Awesome!!!
EDIT: After listening to the album, i have changed my mind. Its an awesome album!! I think its great that bands can grow and change.. Brandon Boyd has the most intriuging (sp?) lyrics. Its good to hear a band who has a conscious opinion about the world around us, and doesn't just write music for the Mtv masses...
"Come one, come all to 1984...."

like the new album too. As the old album: you have to listen to it to like it

Well that can be said with about anything in your genre of interest.
A Crow Left of the Murder is not a bad album, it's just not a good one. It's the worse of the Incubus albums available... and considering its supposed to be the "latest and greatest" it's not saying much for Incubus. As the last song (leech) states:
"The ride's over, fair thee well"

anyway, back to incubus...
"4 or 5 weeks we pretty much did everything."
"Including the mixing and everything. That was by far the quickest we've ever did a record"
"The good thing is, though, that the record doesn't sound like it was made quickly; it sounds like it had a lot of care put into it, a lot of thought... but it just so happens it only took 4 weeks to do that."
Uh HUH.

and if you buy it, buy the remasterd version (released last year).
the sound is improved, sounds better I think... (got both original and remastered version :D)
the lyrics is funny, and the music is very energic!

Ok, now that I had some more time to listen to it, I think it really kicks. I especially like the Priceless guitar solo...

That is the only thing good about that song :trout: otherwise its the worst one on the album (even though it probably hints to older incubus than any of the others)
