What exactly is pixel art and how do you create it?

Pixel art is art that is made out of pixels which are tons and tons of small dots that create a small but crispy and clean image. You wanna see pixel work?

how long does a piece of pixel work usually take?
is there an easier way to do it?

Pixel art can take anywhere from a few minutes to days, it really depends on how hard you want it to be and all. There's really no easy way to do it, zoom in really close and grab your pencil tool.

I have attempted pixel art before, but it's just not for me. It takes way to much time and imagination. Neither of which I have much of.
