Alot of actionscript was used to create the animations. Since tweening by itself sometimes produces some side effects.

There is no tricks to animation, however there is alot of tricks in actionscript :)

That site is pretty nice, how did you make the glowing scroll bar for the text, is that a component? or did you make that?

It's not a component. It was actually just a white bar. However when your mouse moves over it, it increases its alpha level. And when your mouse moves out off it, it decreases its alpha level.

The font for the title is called "Trebuchet MS", and other one is "kroeger 06_56".

Hope that helped

Thanks again :)

You mean the revealer mask for the picture?

Well I didn't learn any tutorial to create that effect, since there wasn't one.

However, recently on the forum I stumbled across a thread that happened to mention a tutorial, that gave similar effects.

Hope that helped :)

You guys won't believe it, but I am (was) building a site exactly the same. It was to become my site, but I'll have to find a new layout now.

Nice site you've got there, Yomu ;)

Using actionscript.

There may be a tutorial out there, I'm not sure :-/ (since I didn't use one)

But I bet Kirupa has lots of tutorials that could give similar effects :)
