Hi,

When making a flash movie is there anyway to export the movie so it shows ONLY what was on the stage in the .fla, not everything in the movie, including everything outside the boundries of the stage.

I'm asking because I'm making a banner ad and when I load it into my main movie it's showing stuff that was not on the stage in my banner ad .fla

Thanks for any help you can give me!

it is in your html publish settings.

check exact fit...

I changed the settings to 'Exact Fit', but I'm still having the same problem. I understand that the 'Exact Fit' shows only the stage area in the exported HTML, but is there anyway to export an .swf that shows only what was on the stage?

Thanks again for any help!

I don't understand.

if you just publish the fla (shift f12), then take the swf, it will only show the stage. If you take that swf, and embed it into HTML, it will do the same.
