chat problem...

i'm in australia

and i can't connect to the Random US Dailnet...

it goes:

Which program are you using? mIRC?

I would try downloading mirC because it's the best at finding the correct server and just alround a lot better.

I use Trillian and mirC is A LOT better.

y doesn't the kirupa chat java window dun work? it just goes white.

i just download micr... works.

dam americans lol...

go to options > connect > servers
IRC network must be DALnet
IRC server must be DALnet Random

it will take a few trys... if it done connect then you must be on cox cable. if so go to identd... and tick all the boxs. make sure the port is 113 and system is UNIX

same thing happens when i use mirc, chat window is blank...and mirc keeps failing to connect like 40 times in a row...the browser thing is my end...somehow my java is screwed up

You could use a program called X-Chat from xchat.org. That's the one I use. :}
