Looks like the Pats did what they needed to do. I hope they can keep it together and win the big game in Housten. :)
Cheers!

It's not that the patriots played good........
I think it's more about how horrible the colts played.

I think it has something to do with our unstoppable defense! The pats played like they have all year:to:

It's too bad my Eagles lost. I still don't like the Patriots, though.

Pants? hahahaha
I don't think the panthers have a snowballs chance in hell. If the patriots beat the colts i would rather the patriots win the superbowl. That way the colts can say they got beat by the superbowl champs, and not the team who lost the superbowl.

You think the Colts had a chance? :P
They were absolutely owned in the first half.

If Peyton "the choker" Manning hadn't thrown 4 interceptions that game had "Colts win" written all over it.
I guess it's just the curse of Indiana sports. Pacers are going to choke next.

So you're a Manning fan too? Same thing happened with Favre, remember? He threw that bomb that landed in the Eagles' hands. It's these petty mistakes that usually cost the game. I would've wanted the Colts to win as well :-/

Favre should retire. He's older than time.
Peyton's contract is up, the colts should just shoot him.
I have some pent up anger over football don't I?
hahah

lol, yeah. I always thought Favre was overrated, though he is pretty good. You know he still plays knowing that one bad tackle would ruin his throwing arm? Hand, rather.

He's also better than 28 other QBs in the NFL. I agree with Thorphies, it was a horrible throw, a blown play that resulted in a bad decision by #4, but if your D can't stop a 4th and 26th, then get outta the playoffs. (Defense wins championships)

You've got a point there, defense does win games. Which brings me back to another reason why the colts lost. Their defense is sub-par to say the least.

Defense is what wins games. That's why the Eagles lost to Panthers.

The colts D didn't play too bad, they only gave up 1 TD, but 17 off of 5 FGs and a safety is a bit embarrasing. The Colts were in it pretty deep into the game, but I think Manning got frustrated and lost his composure (like the last INT he threw)

Favre's last pass was also an interception ;)
Trend?

A Patriots fan was enjoying himself at the game in a packed stadium, until he noticed an empty seat down in front. He went down and asked the guy next to it if he knew whose seat it was.
The guy said, "Yes, that's my wife's seat. We have never missed a game since the old days, but now my wife is dead."
The fan offered his sympathy and said it was really too bad that he couldn't find some relative to give the ticket to and enjoy the game together.
"Oh no." the guy said. "They're all at the funeral."
