I have a client who has an existing Director 8 presentation that she would like to present over the web, except she doesn't want to be limited by the Shockwave plugin.
She wants to know if it's possible to bring Director content into Flash. I know it's possible to bring SWFs into Director but I don't know if it's possible to do it the other way around.
Any ideas?

what do you mean "limited by"? The shockwave player can do everything that Flash can and more. Do you mean limited to? As in not only accessible to those with shockwave pluggin?

Yes, she doesn't want to be limited by the shockwave plugin. Sorry for not being more clear.
Am I right in thinking that the interactive features will not be exportable and that it can only be used in Flash as a video import?

yup, but you can add a flash "layer" to a .mov for basic interactivity..

That was the same thing you said before  not much clearer, though I assume you mean to.

Thats true that quicktime does support Flash tracks with limited interactive functionality... but then again that is Flash, and not director. So even if you took that route, you're still going to have to do some re-creating of the Director movie in Flash. And exporting from Director to a mov will give you none of that (Director physically captures the screen as it plays through your movie when exporting like that - its nutty).
