trouble inporting from Illustrator...

I tried to import an Illustrator File into Flash and everything looked great except I feather an edge of a box and the feather effects doesn't work... Does anyone have any suggestions?

a box, that WOULD be WAY to hard to recreate in Flash wouldn't it!!! C'mon, seriously.
