Question - rotating images

Gotta question...

I went to import a jpeg graphic into my flash page and added a small rotation to the image and now it looks awful with all these jagged edges around the border, any way of straigtening the edges out?

You can try going to the publish settings and adjust the JPEG Image quality to 100 (80 by default), it may increase the filesize.

any time flash edits your images - resizes, rotate, etc. - you take a huge hit in quality. if your image is mostly seen at this angle throughout the movie i would recommend making the rotation in photoshop (or whatever) and importing it into flash already rotated.

I noticed that whenever you resize a picture in Flash it mess up the picture, calcylate the siz before making the animation.
