first drawing... i hope not the last

this is my first drawing and coloring :D .
i'm very happy because i want to do this from 2 years and i was afraid :( .
i want to thank Kitiara for her tutorials i make ike your ICE cap but it's the starting... :thumb:

a friend of mine is a top drawer , hasent got anything online though. but he told me the best way to learn to draw is studying anatomy. Bone structure and muscle structures, this way you can simplify a drawing yet have enough definition there to make it look awesome.

He actually draws spiderman off the top of his head, told me that its the best object to draw because spiderman is the "perfect" human form.

You did really good with the lines. All the ideas for the coloring are there, they just need to be tightened up a bit. The outermost of line of the face isn't nearly defined as it should be, it should be really easy to distinguish jaw, cheekbone, etc.
Anyway, I think it's an awesome first peice, and keep practicing, the best thing you can ever do.
I agree on the anatomy as well, I have a few anatomy books, they are pretty cool.

thanx for reply and i want to say i've a tutorials for drawing faces and eyes and i did like one of those... i think if i wait to draw myself i wouldn't start so i thought if i make something in my hand and see how it works it'll be more usefull more just watching.
