PC is the ultimate gaming console. And my favourite.
Otherwise, I would vote for NES or SNES.

I feel for you Soul, I never had one either. I have asian parents so you have no idea how much they resent all forms of entertainment.

Everyone picked early consoles. I liked the consoles during the transition to 3d period (32 bit - 64-bit). I loved the cute little twitchy character models made from 10 polygons. And 2d trees. 2D TREES!

id have to say teh sega Dreamcast because its the founder of all teh cool features that consoles have today, internet, portable memory card systems with little games great graphics, and real great and original games, i loved everyc console ive had so i really cant say which i prefered but the DC introduced so many new things that its really memorable to me.

Oh that game brings back so many memories... I absolutly loved that game! :beem:
And Sen - the Intellivison was one of the first systems I ever say my uncle throw the controller against the wall in frustration :) ah the memories! I loved how all the games came with cards for the controllers. I used to play the baseball game tons, that and dungeons and dragons.

LOL @ Dreamcast :trout:
Whats up with with all the votes there?
The Dreamcast is the hindenburg of consoles.

The dreamcast was/is a fantastic console. It's just the idiots at EB, Gamestop, Toys R Us, kept telling people to save their money for the ps2 and not buy it. A lot of people are monkeys and listend. Also rampent Piracey was to blame. You could get pretty much every single game off the internet if you knew where to look so you didnt see many games being bought - just the systems.
I loved my DC, some of the best games I have ever played were on that system. They introduced me the Sega Sports 2K series, Virtua Tennis, Wold Series Baseball, Sould Calibur, Shenmue, Crazy Taxi, Jet Grind Radio, Some great Street Fighter and Capcom Fighting Games... the list goes on and on. Not to mention it's graphics were ahead of it's time for sure, and it had online play!
Just another reason why not to launch your system too early I guess. :(
R.I.P. Dreamcast

SNES - Secret of Mana, Zelda, Street Fighter 2, Mario World/Kart etc, etc ... so many hours of my life... I play more SNES games on my Xbox than actual Xbox games ;)
Still have a fond spot for the old Apple II as well. :geek: ...
No entry for the TRS-80? :stunned: Now that was old school modding. *hits the break key*
