Random seemed most appropriate for this.. :c)

I just got my computer back from the shop and it now has a new video card and motherboard (just in case it mattered) and now
when I scroll in ANY program the screen pauses and then slides in 'chunks' instead of smootly...

Does anyone know what has happened and how to fix it?

Is your computer running slow at any time, other than scrolling?

Try running a few programs (excel, word, notepad, winamp, ect.) and see if you notice any slowing of your computer

you might need to update the video card drivers. The default XP driver for my video card is crap and everything is really choppy until I install the ATI drivers. That could be your problem.

I would check your BLT drive while your at it.

gosh red, the blt drive...where's that?

check your refresh rates, and your drivers, make sure you have the most up to date...there's probably some crappy all in one driver installed on there.

bahahahah

How did you do that "sarcasm alert" thing. That is pretty sweet.
