help with Moving char

I need some help with the tutorial on this site http://www.tonypa.pri.ee/tbw/tut14.html. I want to use this one but i dont want the grid. Can anyone help me with this?

Theres a frame in the main tile dealy thats an unfilled gray square. If you delete that square, there sould be no grid.

well u think i cna put a picture in teh back instead of the grid and make it move freely with out it stoping?

in the library you should see a mc called "tile" duddle click it. In ever new keyfame you can see all the differend tiles used in the example.
the first frame is the blank tile. you can see a box here, just delete it and the grid will be gone too.

well when i did that i chould onlyy move in i chould move all around, the movement of the charater was limited to certian like 25% of the squar.
