Will they change Lingo at all? Like what they did from MX to MX2004 for Flash with AS?

Lingo has new additions as well as the new javascript syntax. Now Ive looked around on that and I havent found too much information on how the Javascript syntax works - whether its just an interpretation of lingo (like AS2 isto AS1) or whether its a new model for handling commands in a director project allowing for more flexibility, as, some things you can do with javascript you cannot do with lingo.

all of the reviews say "JavaScript syntax", so I assume it's only a different syntax or interpretation (like VB and JS in ASP.net)

Yeah, thats kind of what I expect :-/ But even then, with *=/++ operator support, that'd still be a nice thing.
