I've checked nasa site today for browse some pictures from the mars rover. Mostly of them are in low-res (what can i see with 256x256 pixels?). and then i find the lastest pic sent from the spirits.. and you need freakin' 3d-glasses, with one eyes in blue and the other in red :geek: ...like those you could find in the chips 10 years ago.... so.. where can i get them? why don't they send a colored image instead of this?... bhaa... i've gotta ask to be a member of JPL :alien2:

yup!
At least the oldschool 3D classes. These work with the images that have those weird blue and red shadows on them These shadows make up the image as it should be seen for each eye (different angles for each eye gives the impression of 3D). The red side filters out the red so you see just the blue (and some other colors) and the blue filters out the blue so you see the red. With that, each eye sees a different image and you got 3D!

Newer 3d glasses use a different technique. There are actually a few other types with 3D monitor. The more common 'typical' kinds are the polorizing glasses which divides light coming into your eyes through polarization, one horizontal and one vertical. You usually get these when you see a 3D movie now-a-days. But theres also
