hello guys all i want to know is if it is possible to play a quicktime video in a .swf flash movie. I wan't to insert a video in my flash file and to play it when i save it in .swf
Or what prog can i use to make my interactive cd rom ?

use macromedia director....
i'm not sure how 2 do it but a lot of friends use it...

quicktime video can be imported straight into flash.
it's somewhat limited (no tweening, no masking), but if all you want to do is have the video play, it's easy like pie!

IMPORTED yes, but not EXPORTED as SWF!
All you can do is put layers with content over the actual mov file in Flash, and then export as Quicktime again, and the flash content will be visible in the video (and be clickable i believe..).
