need help on "opacity"

If u mean the ALPHA of a graphic symbol then in the instance pannel select effect, alpha and set alpha to 0.

That works if it is already a symbol but if it is just a shape that you created in flash you can change the alpha(opacity) of an object by selecting it and changing the alpha setting on the mixer panel to 0 which is completely transparent (100 is completely solid).

there you now have two ways to change the "opacity)
